What a Wonderful Summer We Had!
Summer in the Garden 2026 was a wonderful success, filled with outdoor adventures, creativity, friendship, laughter, and plenty of time for children to simply enjoy being children.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us and to our wonderful teachers who made the summer so memorable.
Now, as we enjoy a beautiful fall and winter season at Village Playgarden, we’re already looking forward to welcoming children back for another Summer in the Garden in 2027.
Looking Ahead to Summer 2027
Our summer program is designed for young children to enjoy the slower rhythm and freedom of summer while continuing to learn through play, exploration, imagination, and time outdoors.
In the loving care of our experienced teachers, summer days at Village Playgarden include:
Arts and crafts
Hours of outdoor play
Visits to the LA Arboretum
Songs and story circles
Nature walks and exploration
Water play
Time for friendships to grow
Plenty of opportunities for curiosity, creativity, and imaginative play
Our summer program has traditionally welcomed children ages 2½ to 6, with flexible weekly schedules available for families.

We are currently planning our 2027 summer program, and full dates, schedules, enrollment options, and registration information will be announced as we get closer to summer.
