Village Playgarden Summer Camp
Our 15th year. Children 3 to 6 years old, June 10 to August 16, 2004
Village Playgarden is enrolling children 3 to 6 for a summer of fun, arts and crafts, visiting the farm, taking walks, water play, longer hikes for older children, care from seasoned teachers.
Enroll for a minimum of two weeks of our ten weeks of program. 3, 4, 5 days/week options.
Nestled at the base of the foothills of Altadena, the Skylane and Canon classrooms are a magical oasis for young children.
Our classrooms are mostly outdoors with rest time in air conditioned classrooms. We give young children the opportunity for immersion in the outdoors while also providing them with comfort, protection, and homelike coziness.
The Skylane classroom offers children ages 4 to 6 a more robust outdoor experience that we call the Forest Kindergarten with more extended hikes in the woods and visits to local waterfalls and shaded canyons.
The Canon classroom is for children 3 to 4. During the summer program children bring their own morning snack and lunch to both classrooms.
Skylane and Canon outdoor classrooms are licensed by the California Department of Social Services as home based childcares, facilities #198016669 and #198020846 respectively.
